More and bigger pots to transfer the tomato and chili plants to later.

    Cthulhu Wars, a book.

More of those fountain pen converter cartridges for all the colours I want to try out.

Lots of veg for a salad and two nice pieces of meat (rump steak) for tonight. Background see here.

hnngh... that makes me tingle in my special place.

Take two... since the order for this one was cancelled.

Was in the city today, parked across from John Lewis and popped in on the off chance there was an open-box model for a discount or similar, since it's on the verge of EOL.

Just as well I did, as they had just put out on the floor, not 1 hour before I arrived, ex-display, as-new condition including all accessories with 5 year warranty and the (£500!) studio stand included for £1040.

I'd say... probably not, tbh. I've just played through it and it's a pretty flawed game. The FPS sections are decent, the RPG element and characterisation are below average, and the driving sections are diabolical.

From the cover I'm guessing Richard o'brien has a tech side we've all missed.

A 64GB USB drive to use as an Ubuntu boot drive on my wife's laptop because using my laptop as a laptop is not very laptop.
A soil moisture meter. Because it makes no sense to have pets while temporarily living in the US, wife made an executive decision to take care of as many plants possible.

With my wife working in welfare, mostly stress and behavioral welfare, we agreed not to put any pet through the stress of flying for 9h (plus whatever time it takes to get through the airport) and then however long they have to be in quarantine at the destination country (be it here or in the Netherlands when we get back).

We're also skint for the most part, as I've been out of [IT] work for the last 9 months. Living here is _expensive_.

Pic is auction pic, item is located in the USA.

It's a very rare CD. So rare that I did not know it existed. It includes a track that is not available anywhere else (Project One - It's a moment in time) but this is a remix of the original (that I have on vinyl) that of course because it's old and was only available in the UK on vinyl I only have a 20+ year old MP3 that sounds like dog poo over my headphones. I literally bought that CD, from America, for £18 total, for one track so I can rip to FLAC or just extract the WAV off the disc. Oddly when it was released in the USA on CD they had no idea of that sort of music. Very strange.... Vinyl is OK but I want something I can really crank loud without worrying about the static or pops wrecking my headphones.

That's the bummer about having high end headphones *and* terribly critical listening skill. Anything on MP3 sounds absolutely atrocious. It's nowhere near as bad over my hifi, but of course the track is incredibly bass heavy and I wouldn't want to send it through the floor lol.

    I hear you.

Luckily a cat sleeps alot. She didn't seem fussed overly by the flights and didn't have to spend much time in any sort of quarantine. Plus, the better half got a good helping with relocation so that helped. TBH I think we got more stressed out about her travel more than the cat did.

But yeah, the US is a whole different kettle of fish.

Plants is a common theme though, while we were away I suddenly found myself surrounded by herbs and plants growing everywhere in and outdoors. :)

Because, you know, one USB-C item in the house and a gazillion micro usb chargers. If the one charger went then i'd be stumped.
