They show it being used for gaming but the second small screen is in such a position you're going to get real neck ache looking up and down. Well, unless you have it propped on an angled stand I guess.

Is there actually any point in the second screen?

Given it has touch support it could be used for game macros or as an Elgato Stream Deck-like affair... Ultimately though it feels a bit like the Apple Touch bar - something that sounds very clever and innovative in a design meeting... but in reality is largely a waste of time.

Asus beat them to it last year with the Zenbook Pro 15, which had the touchpad replaced with a touchscreen.

    So they did.

The 'world's first' moniker gets thrown about so much nowadays. I guess it's the first to have it somewhere, not the touchpad, further up, pretty central at the top with slightly straighter edges and at that size with that specific reflective glare....

    :duh:

I have an LCD in my Keyboard and quite like to use it for monitoring etc rather than on screen overlays so I can see the benefits on that side, being touch screen if you can load in social media applets and scroll through it etc, it'd be quite cool but whether it'll get that support who knows, its quite niche.

Edit- I see on the website it already has twitch, spotify and discord support, so quite cool.

And given the position of the 2nd screen it could be argued that it is actually a screen at the top of the keyobard, which was done over a decade ago by the Logitech G15.
