    Get that dev a bone.

I'm wearing jeans for the first time in nearly 7 months. They're giant and fall down while walking, but they fit my belly once sat so no pressure on the wounds. If it wasn't for the fact that I'm hating work today and want to kill everyone it'd be a fantastic day.

Maybe a pair of braces (Suspenders if you're 'Murican) instead of a belt?

Realising that my calculator - which is probably older than some people here - is still running perfectly; albeit that its' programming capacity is less capable than yer avg. BIOS.
ICYW - it's one of these.

Noice. This is my daily driver:

Though it's far from the oldest pocket calculator I have - that'd be this:

Surprisingly quick to use once you've got the knack!

Not quite that old, but I got mine when I started my GCSE maths lessons in 1991 and it's still going just fine:

Programmable calculators were banned in O- & A-levels, when I took them... we had to use log. books (no; not a DVLA V5).

    GCSEs? Pah, youngsters these day....
@Jeff Hine I saved up and bought an FX7000 to use at university for its graphing functions.
Yes, log tables in exams, calculators but not graphical were OK for university stuff. Computers back then were few and far between, other than the mainframe.
Commodore PET bolted to the desk in the 1st year lab for least squares fit linear graphs.
BBC B in the 3rd year lab, and a 286 in the basement with a FFT card running the budget build MRI scanner!
Didn't see my first proper PC until work, with a lovely 386.

One of my schools had a brace* of RML 380Z... w/ 5¼" floppy drives; and going by the release dates, they'd have been brand new, too

*maybe one was a PET, memory's a bit faded...

I had a 380Z once. Had to get shot when my youngest came around and I downsized the office. Beast of a machine.

I remember they banned us having those maths pencil cases. we could bring non programmable scientific calculators in but weird they didnt care about the sheet on the inside of the cover that had the bulk of the equations on it!

Pfft rubbish, those of the correct age will recall the blue or red long ones double sided with times tables etc on them.

Or in the case of our French listening exam someone went in with a headphone ran down their sleeve so they could listen to the England Tunisia game that was on at the same time, priorities there.

I read your bit before I read the rest and thought you meant a hitherto unknown Nissan.

I was thinking more of the pay and conditions that come with being an artist in game development, as long as they aren't owned by Activision you'll probably be ok.

25°C in the shade, sitting in the sun (amidst my tomato and chili plants on the balcony) with a good book and a stiff gin & tonic. Johnny Cash's American I - V is playing in the background. Life is good.
