Thats one hot chip! Glad this is out now, I am thinking of using one as the board in a NAS now that the SATA drive speed will be better, just have to wait for all the bits'n'pieces to fall into place.
Nope. That would have been a breach of the NDA. I used one of the older Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+es for that.

Was on holiday in Northumberland last week and had a go at getting the photo everyone seems to get of Bamburgh Castle from the beach. Stuck them in an album on Flickr. Bamburgh Castle by Philip Veater, on Flickr
Not a photo in the strict sense but a product of many photos so I'm sneaking it in. I haven't found a lot of time for playing with the camera in recent years so I've been trying out a few things I've have on my 'to mess with' list - timelapse work being one of them A very short time lapse out of my attic bedroom window. Ideally I'm looking to do some full sunset/rise work but I wanted to do something small to check its difficulty level... I'm fairly happy with the result for a first go. Canon EOS M with 22mm f/2 pancake, running Magic Lantern for interval. I'm looking at a Arduino based intervalometer possible too as my tinkering always goes better if its a solution to some problem ** feel free to loose the video if this thread is photo only **
I do like a timelapse but it's something I've never tried. I bought a cheapo remote shutter release that has an intervalometer (e.g. https://www.amazon.co.uk/Neewer®-Shutter-Release-Hasselblad-PowerShot/dp/B004FKYBJM) and my current camera even has one built in. How many frames per second are you shooting? My built in intervalometer maxes out at 2000 shots so I'll only get a 66 second timelapse at 30 fps.
For that test I ran shot every 8 sec which gave me around 400 shots to put back together at 25 fps with a number getting scrapped to even out things here and there. I can do unlimited shots and around 2 sec shortest interval when I'm running off mains power with the magic lantern software on the camera. I've part way down building a IR intervalometer for the EOS M as it doesn't have any support for a remote shutter release. My M50 has a timelapse movie mode but I like to play with the editing workflow myself to learn a few things so consider it cheating for now I've just come back from Sandy Bay down Devon and it would have made a great location for some sunset / rise work but being there with my kid and my sisters two kids I just couldn't put time aside for it sadly.
Just the lighting. I did think that when the images came out but can confirm his eyes are the same colour.
