Handful of books to add to the work library:

The Virtual Community: Homesteading on the Electronic Frontier by Howard Rheingold
. The expanded MIT Press edition, not the first edition - and not at the £30 Amazon wants for a new copy, either; I paid a couple of quid for a withdrawn library copy.

Second Self: Computers and the Human Spirit
, by Sherry Turkle. Again, nuts to £20.89, I found a copy on FleaBay for a fraction of the price.

Life on the Screen: Identity in the Age of The Internet by Sherry Turkle
    ,
    the sequel to the above.

That's in line with " I invent cyclone vacuums". At least he is a consistent.

Great fan of O'Donnell Roasted Apple Moonshine, thought I'd give this a shot... well was just £14 in the Amazon Prime sale, seemed rude not to!

    Well seeing as I have prime this month I'll join you in a bottle, and it'd be rude to only order one, so;

Let me know how the Cherry version tastes.

Also pro tip, get some Virgil's Root Beer add 3 parts to 1 part apple moonshine. Works really well with O'Donnell Roasted Apple Moonshine hope it does with this Firefly Moonshine.

Arrived today. Had a cheeky tipple and I'd rate it at 8 out of 10 probably a 7 at the regular price. O'Donnell Roasted Apple Moonshine is the high 10 benchmark, it's the almond aroma that makes it the best. Brilliant blend straight or mixed.

Also, if you're going to get into the habit of Mason Jar Moonshine then this bit of kit is essential...

Clever bit of design, avoids moonshine wastage!

[IMG] Picked up this the other day to replace an ageing bbq. It cooks things a lot quicker than the previous one :)
Also nabbed a copy of The Division 2:Gold edition for the Xbone in the Amazon Prime sale for £29.99

I've decided to not care about having money to spend or not and reserved these for pick-up later today. Will be financed within 10 months for 0% interest, anyway.

Needed something to cheer me up right now.

Intel NUC NUC8i7BEH for £380 using the ebay 20% off code.

In hindsight the NUC8i5BEH was better value but you gotta love an i7.

Will be paired up with a 2060 in an eGPU.

Yeah, I would've gone smaller/cheaper as well, but I found a brick & mortar store with 0% interest financing for the first 10 months, so I went big.

All you need to do now is de shell the NUC and insinuate it into the 'frankly enormous' eGPU case :p.
Definite SFF envy and you deserve something good after your build troubles

I received my Silverstone PT13B + 120W brick yesterday (no pics as I'm away at the moment).
The parcel was about 3 times the expected size, with it being carefully packed individually and then in a big outer.
Will post pics when it's built, assuming my LP cooler really is sub 30mm high.

Loads of kit for a weekend of camping, festivalling and country music - in the rain. Got to pick up food when I get to Welshpool but I'm stoked to see some of the family again
