Currently house shopping and have found something with garaging for 6 cars, so would in theory have plenty of space for it.

In practice, however, it's a fixer-upper of a period country house, and the enormity of the work needed to get it up to scratch and ongoing maintenance of the house and grounds, means that I'll never be able to afford another car again, much less anything "interesting".

I have a good relationship with the local Lotus dealership though, so you can bet your ass I'm going to do all I can to get a drive in one.

TBH, I find the McMansions in Edwalton somewhat distasteful.

Nice in pictures, and I've definitely browsed them on rightmove on many occasions and dreamed of living there, but in reality I think it would be too much like living in a hotel. I don't think it would ever feel like home. All with the added bonus of being overlooked by neighbours and the possibility of listening to screaming kids next door running around the garden all summer.

Even if I could spank £10m on a house, it wouldn't be that one. Much prefer a nice country house on the outskirts of a village with a good chunk of land. Or as the case may turn out, a "potentially nice" country house, which will bankrupt me well before it gets there (That said, because that prospect is already giving me an anxiety ulcer, actually have a viewing at a modern McMansion tomorrow, to either reaffirm my views, or possibly dispel them entirely, just not Edwalton)

Just make sure it has EV charging facilities, or scope to add them :thumb:

One good trailer (short trailer, nothing really in the way of spoilers for once)

I was very sceptical of another topgun, but will looks to be pretty decent.

One dubious trailer (full typical modern trailer showing you most of the main plot)

Stinks of a money grab to me, or an attempt on the world record for cameos.

It looks like they made exactly the same film again, which is great and also not so great since the star has been reduced to a cameo in it's own movie.

I've been mainly scared off by the amount of work on that one I mentioned, but going for a viewing at another early 18th century money pit house later, with a collapsing barn that's handily the size of 4 cars, or 5 removing the retro-fitted washroom at the end.

It's buried under the rubble, but I think it has an EV charging point there already as one of the original features, that was installed during the reign of George II.

after the complete car crash that was discovery, i am genuinely concerned that outside of some loved characters making a return Picard is going to bomb hard.

I think Discovery is slowly but surely hauling itself out of the pit. It took TNG and DS9 time to git gud too, so there's time.

Also without Disco, you wouldn't have this.

S2 of Disco also demonstrates just how badly wrong JJtrek got things. Esp the design of the Enterprise.

true but in both of those series they at least had memorable likeable characters and coherent writing.
