I have a Asus TUF Z370 Pro-Gaming motherboard on Windows 10 when I try to install the latest version of my drivers for the various features & components etc it keeps telling me (Does not support this Operating Sytem: WNT_10.0P_64) How do I fix this & get the latest drivers installed ? I have tried googling it & found nothing usefull yet
Which drivers? Also are the off the disk that came with the board or the ones off ASUS' site [or direct from intel or wherever]
I am not sure what you are trying to say but if I am understanding yes the ones I am getting are from the asus site for my board https://www.asus.com/uk/Motherboards/TUF-Z370-PRO-GAMING/HelpDesk_Download/
First: double-check that you downloaded the Windows 10 64-bit versions of the drivers, rather than the Windows 10 32-bit versions. Second: check that your drives are set to AHCI and not IDE in the BIOS. I don't know why that breaks Asus' installers, but it does. Thirdly: if the drivers you've downloaded have an asussetup.exe and a setup.exe, run setup.exe and ignore asussetup.exe.
I meant is it a specific driver that you're having problems with - chipset, audio, or are you having problem with all of them. EDIT: Also, what @Gareth Halfacree said plus: Fourthly: Try the intel drivers from intel themselves.
Yes they are the windows 10 64 bit versions How do I check if my drives are to AHCI & not IDE ? I have tried both setup.exe & asassetup exes niether work I have a quick flick through to see which ones do the message described in original post above I am having problems with Lan Drivers Sound Drivers VGA Drivers even though no one uses them I checked anyway How & where do I get them from intel ?
if you're not sure what to look for on the intel site - Ethernet driver - https://downloadcenter.intel.com/do...k-Adapter-Driver-for-Windows-10?product=36773 Chipset - https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/28182/Chipset-INF-Utility?product=125903 You'll only need the GPU divers if you're using the integrated GPU, but if you are then they're here - https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/28991/Intel-Graphics-Windows-10-DCH-Drivers?product=80939 Audio is a little trickier as it depends on whether you need the old legacy HDA driver or the newer UAD driver. It's a bit of a minefield.
They're not explicitly for your motherboard, but they are for the model of Intel Ethernet controller [I219-V] and for the chipset [Z370] used by the board. If those drivers also have a tantrum, then something is definitely not right somewhere.
