    That is all.

Oh and W10 installed and activated no bother. Fastest single core only 4150mhz so far but as it's working will await the next bios rather than do an interim one.

Edit: as a bonus i didn't have my headphones plugged in and discovered my monitor has speakers. On top of that it's currently running at 70hz in gsync compatible mode which i shall duly test out :)

Sooo much better than unplugging headphones and discovering the monitor doesn't have speakers ! :)

Had some massively good feedback on a piece of work I’ve been doing. It’s only been a few weeks since I started it.

They’re experts in their respective fields and something I aspire to massively so having that sort of praise has done me the world of good.

I enjoy work but for the past couple weeks I’ve actively looked forward to going to work...

And you already went over it. You should've just created a new account to protect the glorious post count. Now you have to reach 133,337 as fast as possible.

New cans finally arrived a few days ago.

5.5 hours playtime, magnetic 2200mAh(!) battery charging case, auto con/discon upon removal/put away, touch controls on each bud for pause/play/forward/back/google assistant, 8mm drivers and dual phone mics.

cracking buy for £90, v pleased with them.

Ran a drone survey yesterday, the biggest I've done to date. 1 hour flight time, 3 x Phantom 4 batteries, over 1,200 images, slightly over 20,000m2 and it looks like I have it down to ~3cm accuracy.

    Absolutely delighted! :D

DPD app sez my Mavic Pro has been delivered, and tomorrow is my day off. I mean, the app didn't tell me it's my day off, that would be silly.

    Still, much excite.

Perhaps I should leave a placeholder in the "what's ruining your life" thread.

Have you flown a drone before? Mavics have a lot of assistance and aid built in, but they're still extremely powerful and nippy pieces of kit. Maybe brush up with the fake Mavic first

Yeah, my first drone was a cheap little thing with no assistance aids at all. It was hellish in any kind of wind because it was so light.

The Mavic will be in beginners mode for sure though.

Start with the absolute basics first: Take off (manually), small adjustments to movement and elevation, then land. Stick into tripod mode for really slow movement speeds on everything.

Once you get comfortable with that, then try flying normally. once you get accustomed to it, then find yourself a nice big open space and throw it into Sport mode and have some fun! :D

Made a biryani earlier (this one, but without the raisins & toasted almonds because the other half is fussy) and I am now pleasantly stuffed. Got loads of the stuff left over, all boxed up and ready to go in the freezer.

Also going to the Microsoft Future Decoded conference with work in a couple of weeks - first time I've been to a conference, I must be going up in the world... Travel & accommodation paid for, of course.

Just checked in for the flights to Corfu on Saturday with the girlfriend. Two weeks of books, good food, good wine, sun, sea, friends, and not doing much. I've never needed it more than this year.

Waking up and booting up my phone to see that Xiaomi's JoyUI wants to install a 1.3gb update.

It was Pie, yay. That **** never happens to me I'm always stuck on the Android it ships with.

Love the new look. They even created new custom wallpapers for it.

    Let's f*****g Shark, mugger Fugger.
