With the judgement made by the FIA I'm guessing that the Renault didn't have the turn-by-turn automatic brake balance that Racing Point alleged. It sounds to me like the brake balance could be pre-set, then the driver's adjustments would automatically return to the pre-set. If it was my design I would have it do that on release of the brake pedal, so the driver can set the brake balance for a big braking zone manually, then the car would return to a more neutral setting after the big stop. -or- The brake balance could be set by button presses from the steering wheel to pre-defined settings, instead of the more fallible adjuster lever normally used. Both would be technically legal but would also reduce work load for the driver. I'm sure there will be an argument about this one coming up.
Dear god max are you really that up yourself. "Do we really have to talk about safety" Bottas just had a crash but your pole lap is more important than the driver or any Marshall's safety. I'd ban him for the rest of the season on that selfish comment alone. All respect gone and to be honest if lost most of it anyway, wake up moron, to be a champion you need to stop being a collosal dick.
Yeah that interview/press conference was painfully bad... ...and as C4 put it, he might's have got away without a penalty if he hadn't said what he said.
He's supposed to getting more mature but he's acting more like his dad who seems to be trying to live vicariously through his son.
that was a rather painfully dull race imo the top 4 could all happily sit 2 / 3 seconds away from each other, but get no closer before brake / engine temps skyrocket and you have to back out
My highlight of the race had to be Seb pushing "Selfie Guy" out of the way on the podium celebration. Golden!
Podium was interesting. Certainly something different. Kyvatt also demoted 2 places after the race for punting Hulkenberg into the barriers. Marshalls say its pretty black and white while Kyvatt compaining about marshalls ruining racing and it being racing incident. The number of mistakes and Ferrari throwing that one away begs the question Is everyone being affacted by the Altitude?
They should have taken some viagra. ha ha That's just Kvyatt being Kvyatt, smashing into someone and denying any wrong doing. Ferrari's strategy team all need firing, how many times this season (and in recent years) have they managed to monumentally balls up winning positions? Mercedes have mopped up from just not being idiots and being able to make their tyres last longer than 5 seconds.
There was a lot of D&V throughout the teams in Mexico apparently. Might go some way to explaining sub-optimal pit performance.
Actions of loose morals involve Ds and Vs and the should never be done south of the border, because down there they've all got super clap.
So we know what the 2021 cars won't look like... cos they never look like the promo renders... Tweet— Twitter API (@user) date
