Yeah, I bought my Nokia 7.1 I got it straight from Nokia to the the €100 wireless ear buds for free. Had to wait longer, used the ear buds for 200+ hours already, like them.

yes it does, they've also delayed it to the end of December to add some more recordings to it leading to speculations of it being the addition of the Ace Combat /S concert held earlier in the year.

Saving for one and an iPad Mini 4 (sadly) to ge airborne.
My friend and advisor is also suggesting maybe a usd Mavic Pro instead, because Oculink and better value.
    Walk before run? who knows?
    Enjoy all of it @silk186

Thanks, don't know anything about drones so will need to jump in headfirst with this unexpected gift.
It seems to have advanced object detection. I know it was just released because they were not even available in Shenzhen when I was there and had to have it shipped to me.
On an interesting note, the drown is 249g because 250g+ requires a licence to operate in China.

I can try to do a review ... I should probably unbox it.
I did open it once because I was forced to remove the three lithium batteries at the airport but I will need to do some research and charge the batteries.
Do you have any suggestions for reviews to use for comparison?

Same in the UK; pilots of 250g to 20Kg need to be licenced at £9 a year and you have to pass a test.
The Mini counts as a 'toy' being sub 250b - a toy it is NOT.
Japan's regs are tighter at 200g, so DJI do a lighter 18 min (rather than 31min) battery to squeeze in at 199g! Nice work guys.
AFAIK the Mini only has downward detection and no front/rear collision cameras like the Mavic Air and Mavic pro family. That's why the prop guards are so handy, you can also fly it indoors if you wish.
Love the hard core testing in this video; the guy just needed to know how much it could take

Also, this was impressive, I believe EU versions are limited to 500m range

No - I've not really got into drones as I couldn't find one that was a combination of small, decent and not bank account breaking. Until you posted this, I had no idea it existed! I'm just interested to see what you think from your own point of view.

I'm particularly interested in these things though:

    1) Photograph size and quality (I like to think of myself as a budding travel photographer and this would expand my capabilities).
    2) Flight time under a range of loads, from how long a single position can be held, to racing around like a madman.
    3) Resistance to sudden wind gusts.

Pete, my friend with a Mavic Pro Platinum and a Mini tooks some pics yesterday and sent them to me, the Mini is pretty good in comparison, particularly looking at the cost.

The 2nd video shows the Mini fighting the wind pretty well, and how stable the image is under those conditions.

I've watched WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too many Mini reviews on YouTube this last few weeks, and am saving madly for one.

If you can get down to Shenzhen they are relatively affordable. If they were unable to ship to me before I returned to the UK they were even willing to ship to the UK for free.
I don't have a recent DSLR but I will be able to compare the photo quality to a Oneplus t7 and Huawei P30 pro.
I think the flight time is supposed to be around 30 minutes per battery and mine comes with three.
I will be interested to see how it performs in practice, with a pilot with no drone experience.
