Building my brother a new rig after his went bang. Finally going to put to use the Watercooling gear I got him a while back so he wants to go full pretties and build it in the O11 Dynamic.

Problem is that the vertical gpu mount is out of stock everywhere. Any one know of an alternative that works in that case?

It's very short though. I actually have one of each spare but need one and I can't vouch for either just yet. Neither worked with my Vega 64 but it was a bit of a power pig so they both need more testing.

Cable mods is the best, as you don't have to hack your case up.

Overclockers have the cablemod one in stock too. Thanks guys!

Scan order has been placed should arrive tomorrow. I've sent him the shopping list for Watercool. Their website is the only place where everything is in stock (allegedly) and with free shipping can't complain. Going to have so much fun putting this together

Actually for the 011 Dynamic its worse as the case doesn't have the bracket sepperators!

Only because its recessed towards the front of the case, so the GPU will look out of alingment to the motherboard :p Its for cases that have bracket spacing metal (bad discription for the think bits of metal between the expransion bracket spaces) so you can still attach cables, but the 011 Dynamic doesn't have these so its not needed!

Ah right. Well, it looked the sturdiest of the one's available as it's about to have 2kg of metal strapped to it. Sure it will be fine.

Looking at the case just now and yeah, the Cooler Master and the Phanteks are both destructive. IE you need to get cutting.

I have a CM on my Titan XP with water block and yeah, it's fine, but you have to cut the case up to get it in. My only other complaint is the ribbon is awful short, and would not make it to the top PCIE slot in my board (HEDT, though).

The Cablemods one requires no cutting and has a decent ribbon.

I don't know what you're talking about, I have that case and that mount, it didn't need any cutting. I did say this previously.

Might have end up having to take a dremel to the cablemod one to rig in a soundcard. :dremel: Do sound cards do well on risers? My thoughts are that it's received the data through the cables before cleaning it up and spitting it out, so would be fine?
