My father in law has a double wide garage on a triple car wide drive, may he live a long life but not too long, I could put them to good use :D

Not sure which of the two options to list this under, but as I'm able to type this, I'll post it here... it's my birthday.

Anyway in and out through the boot? Handy door or window in the garage back there.

Been having lots of house viewings recently, and everyone seems surprised that there's actually a car in the garage.

Come to think of it, only one of the houses we've viewed had any garaged cars. But then there were two doubles, and one of them was still full of stuff, so I'm not sure it counts.

Of all the places we looked at with garages, we also only saw one with a car in it. The rest just looked like a "can't be bothered to sort this ****"-plosion.

Snap, plus my garage is rubbish might be able to get the mothers car in, mines too wide.
Also my garage currently looks like a tip mainly because I have loads to tidy, but in order to tidy I need to make more mess an build things then I can tidy.

Also need power in there, and likely a door so I dont have to have the door open all the time. Tried running my new pillar drill off the solar and invertor. Inverter went straight into over draw protect when I tried using it an drained the battery  Think It'll have to be solar lighting and light duty stuff then mains for the power tools, if it cut out on a 550W drill, it wont managed a 1200W chopsaw :hehe:

I just get in and out via the door. It does have a sunroof though if it came to that...

Got around 12ft behind the car for that stuff (although no bench drill).

A garage for at least one car was a must have for us. Helps that we live at the end of a cup de sac so nice and quiet.

Seems like an excellent excuse to buy a new car:

I got accepted for the UK shipping tester of the new Sidearm T1 ready for some water cooling goodness, which means I should have a case shipped out to me this Friday :)

Hopefully in a couple of weeks time I will be the only UK owner of this awesome (and tiny) case.

Pretty excited, as I can finally get my I9 and RTX 2080 into a case.

Good work there! I've been following the Sidearmd, and pleased to see it's on the go. My heart's with the Dancase C4, but it's a bit close to the NCase M1 in size to really justify moving to. Part of me wants to support Dan if nothing else.
The air cooled options above look good, as i thought it was more water oriented. If it runs well and the dual colour variant comes out, I could be tempted.

I just hot-moved one of the cache SSDs in my NAS to another slot (and shelf for that matter), and nothing caught fire.

Yes, that means it's working as per design. But reassuring nonetheless.
