    It's worth noting that even if you do want/need the TV, a Sky bundle that includes broadband might not be the best deal you can get for internet. Their discounts for TV customers aren't huge. As usual it's best to shopping around and compare.

    Yep, sky are coming in on the 11th. My wife is pissed off as we lose our home phone number (we are the only people in our 30's who still use it).

    Tbf we use ours too and losing it would be a pita so I can sympathise. Well this is another reason that I won't ever being touching VM

    Can't you just port it? The number I use now has travelled from a BT line in a house to a BT line in a flat to a Blueyonder (remember them?) line in the same flat to a BT line in a house without changing once.

    Because virgin media have “closed our last account” the number is “lost” off into the ether somewhere.

    Virgin have been shocking from start to finish.
