Let's start right away with unboxing and a view of Antec's beautiful Striker. So immediately I show you the first component from which the mod takes its name: real laminated wood sheets! That we will use to “wrap” the outer covering and then pass it under the laser engraver. Stay connected for the next updates!
Greetings guys! After a break for "work in progress at Twister Mod" we start again with a nice view of the main components of our mod. The photo is missing the ROG Strix 2080Ti but the heart of our version of the Antec Striker is already clearly visible and you can get an idea of the finished work. After applying the layer of wood and the necessary laser engravings, we move on to using the second new material: carbon. Considering the need to not distort the geometry of the case, we turned to the details to make this small case more particular than it already is. We have in fact opted for real carbon tubes which will "cover" the pre-existing frame structure, thus creating a stark contrast to the tubes which, instead, will be applied in the custom loop. That said, we proceed with the installation of the small but bad ROG Strix Z390i with its PCI riser cable and the first part of the custom loop. Stay tuned!
Goooood evening guys! It's time for a brief update for the small Striker Wood! Given the relative simplicity of the mod, the worklog is already running out and now we show you a quick preview of the components that will be included in the system: In addition to the ROG Strix z390-I and the excellent RTX 2070 Super, we will use the new Antec Prizm kit as a fan unit to be installed in the rear of the case, to then complete everything with the usual custom loop with EK Water Blocks components and the HyperX Fury RAM to give an additional touch of light to the whole Mod. For perfect match the whole color scheme we choose some green coolant for the loop. Nice look with leds on uh? See you next week for the last update and the final shots!
HI! no it's real wood sheets made for forniture purposes or modeling. I hope! Just joke: this glue has an operative temperature ranging from -50°C to +80°C so i think there's no problem. For time lasting i think that only time can answer but it's a very strong ad reliable glue.
