    It's a lyric from Team America's theme song :p

It makes very little sense as I'm not American, and neither is the resin.

Gifted my 15 year old son a copy of Counter Strike Source on Steam, we just spent the last couple of hours killing bots to introduce him to the game.

I was playing this with my friends around the time he was born.

    Thanks for the refresher.
I use the secret signal to flag one of my co-workers down who always wears headphones.

Resin cured enough to move the desk, just got to wait four days before it cures completely, apparently.

    In those four days I need to decice with, or without, UV LED's;

If I was having to make that decision and, given that I used to be indecisive but, now I'm not so sure, four days might not be long enough...

I was mulling over the choice of two different pairs of headphones for several weeks, before an unexpected shift in price made the decision for me.

I find that if I procrastinate long enough that is how all my purchasing decisions are made.

    Solid methodology in my opinion.

Fit the LEDs either way. If you don't like how they look, you can still switch them off.

Discovered 16 forgotten rolls of toilet paper

Was getting anxious about the fact that there's only a few spares in the normal TP location, didn't even realise these were hiding at the back of a cupboard. Must have been split off from a bulk pack at some point since they wouldn't fit in the normal spot.

Built a work bench, got to build a drawer yet which should be fun.

    Jobs left

Sand and coat in Boiled Linseed then wax in about a fortnight.
Re do the trim right on the vise, screws being wonky annoys me.
    Vise Jaws - Waxed Pine.
    Bevel edges.
Build and install draw (maybe a second shelf too).
Hanger hooks left side theres a handy overhang for them.
Brass trim on back left where tool cart goes to prevent damage.
Drill dog holes and get dogs.

Bench is plenty strong enough I can sit on the thing so thats 86KG plus what was on the shelf.
May actually add some angle pieces as it does rock a bit when I test planed some wood

Wall rack an cupboard next. Rack will be a three piece shop bought metal one, one piece I will box in and put a cupboard over that this will not only give me more storage space but also mean I can seal the cupboard an protect some of the saws from moisture that gets in.

Also you can see a cement lip at the bottom on the threshold, I'm knocking that out to add a proper weather strip.

The forums are back! On top of everything else, I'm not sure I could cope with this place being down!

I went shopping this morning. It was almost pleasant. I mean, there are still shortages - pasta, rice, eggs, beans, frozen veggies, tea bags etc.. but it was a peaceful experience.

After Bozo's statement last night, I fully expected the panic buyers to be in swivel-eyed frenzy mode.

B-T Forums are back up, I was starting to get digital isolation anxiety.... I really missed hearing from you guys.

Managed to have a conversation with @David and @Goatee earlier on SFFn forum, so all was not lost

Had a new boiler fitted yesterday, looks like it was just in time as all the suppliers are shutting and my heating engineer is heading home and not going out.

Hang in there guys and don't go mad at home

Looking good; I'm glad to see you have the vice set below the surface of the bench, so many people mount them flush and it defeats the purpose of the wooden jaws.

I managed to get everything I was after except frozen fruit. I guess they had a run on that and haven't been able to refill.

Even managed to buy milk, hand wash, eggs, pasta, bread. I hope, I shouldn't need to go out again until the weekend. The queue for the pharmacy was 90 minutes, so I gave up waiting after about 20.

I did see a frustrating sight though, an old woman (70-80's) was complaining that the supermarket had moved some things around (the staff tried to explain it was to help people spend less time in close proximity to each other, by spacing high demand products out) but they hadn't changed the overhead signs. She spent a couple of minutes berating the store manager who was busy stacking an end shelf isle, as I walked up and down the isles.

In hindsight, I wish I had told her to shut-up and stop complaining. We are doing this for people like her! I'm disappointed with myself for not interjecting and supporting the staff.
