    I probably wouldn't get that card since it seems to have quite severe temp and thus throttling issues.

    Maybe the severe issues are something stupid like small thermal pads. Wait until tech jesus takes it apart.

    Seems like fan curves are a significant issue. What I disliked about that review is that he still recommended it. Despite saying that having to muck about with fan curves AND that PowerColor have had fan curve issues on other products as well, is unacceptable.

    I would agree. It’s unacceptable. Suggests very poor or non existent quality control.

    I agree this product shouldn't get a recommendation. But I think he might say this with an ITX background, meaning he's used to tinkering with fan curves, undervolting, re-pasting, etc. He might just have lost touch a tiny bit towards the average user who isn't as used to these things as he is.
