Looks like a good set you've put together there, I had previously only seen Bahco files with perfectly utilitarian but soulless plastic handles.

See, for a second I thought you were going hog wild with the Ps1 hardware.

But now I think you're putting something in a PS1 chassis, because that's the far more reasonable version.

Of course! The SODIMM slots on the STX are vertical, desktop PC style as there's not enough room for them to lie flat Thin ITX style...

One of these and some Kryonaut

Assuming it comes in a timely manner I now have all the parts to build a new system, but still need some new data drives since my current ones are #cough# years old and should been replaced #ahem# ago. I think a box of M-Discs might be in my near future.

Just as well since painting this afternoon reduced my machine to a slide show at 6000x3600.

Yeh I almost got some of them, but they didn't have all the files I wanted with those handles, definitely don't want different odd handles and was actually cheaper to get the faithful hardwood handles anyway. Just have to fit them and now and hope I can get them straight.

A summary of the last couple of days leading up to today: ALL THE THINGS

    Through-hole resistor set

    Through hole ceramic cap set

Another GBS-8200 upscaler (I killed the I2C pads on the last one)

    Flux paste

    Female 2.54mm pin headers

Mixed 2.54mm pin header set with (probably garbage) crimps

    i5 4590

    Samsung mSATA SSD

    Intel 7265 AC WiFi/Bluetooth card

    8GB DDR3 1600 SODIMM

Beard grooming stuff, because I'm starting to look very unkempt - oil, balm, moustache wax, wooden comb, scissors

Beard soap, because regular shampoo is really bad for facial hair - ideally I need a proper beard shampoo & conditioner, but this will do for now, I've spent enough recently...

    EDIT: Forgot a couple!

    Arctic Freezer 11 LP

128GB MicroSD, because it was £12 and SD cards are always handy, so... why not?
