I'm planning to order a new surge protector to remove daisy-chaining. This will require some new cable runs. This will be all USB type C and micro.

The cables I'm concerned about is the C to C for a MacBook pro and second type C for OnePlus warp charger. Do these use regular type C cables or do I need to find specific cables?

Will cable length impact charging? I've read the usb 3.1 doesn't like long runs.

You want shorter cables, as the wattage those cables will be delivering longer ones will drop a huge amount of power!

Dash chargers only work with the original 1+ cable as they charge at 4A , which would melt chinesium grade cables. Warp is even more amps.

I did not realise these used different cables.
I can keep the charging wire for the oneplus on my side of the table using the included cable.
How long can a MacBook pro C to C charging cable be and are they also apple magic cables?
