Hey all Not a major thing but for a while I had 1909 as an optional update. I was finally going to install it, just because, but before I did Tuesday updates downloaded and after that I had no optional updates. Odd, the OS build still says 1903. Any ideas? Is it a big loss to be on 1903 and not 1909? Cheers
I've finally gotten around to doing 1903 this afternoon after I could finally be bothered to clear some space on my ssd. Expected 1909 to be sat there waiting but nope, so seems like I'm in the same situation.
It was odd, been there waiting for a while then disappeared after todays updates. Typical, i'd decided to install it today after they'd done.
They broke the search bar, which apparently is now a Web app made by the bing team, rather than an embedded part of windows. Something they changed in the back end completely cut it's Web connection and caused it to stop functioning. Took a couple of days to fix.
Oh yeah, I think I heard something about that, can't say i'd noticed - maybe I just didn't search for anything while it was borked.
My computer says there is the 2004 update available but not for my computer. An old Samsung i3 sandybridge updated, but not my Ryzen desktop or Dell e6320 laptop.
Same for my NUC, my other PC's have updated. I seem to recall reading something somewhere about the delay being Intel iGPU related?
I wonder why the Ryzen 5 desktop, I do have an Asus BT400 bluetooth adaptor plugged in the back, I can't think of anything else other than the B350 mortar motherboard.
I've got 2 NUCs and a laptop that aren't 'ready' for the 2004 update. Apart from the Intel GPU problem there's also a problem with Realtek Bluetooth as well as other problems
