There was a picture of the bins, about 20ft away and they were all empty. It's sickening tbh. The hell is wrong with people these days? Oh and they interviewed a teenager as he was leaving yesterday and he said "No I am not worried about Coronavirus. No one I know has had it" There you go. There was 33 tonnes of rubbish removed.
In places like Ibiza they have to put up with these lovely ambassadors of Britain every year... maybe we should take the opportunity to potty train them.
These people are irredeemable. And yet unfortunately the most likely to procreate wildly. Are you sure we can't bring back hanging for littering? The world would be a better place.
Woah there you two. Sounds like you're dangerously close to suggesting people take personal responsibility for their waste disposal! That's what bin men are paid for! Don't want to do them out of a job now do you?! .../s
I see lots of fluff pieces going on about how we can all go on holiday soon. Nope. Check some of the places that the Government says we can go to, they're not letting UK travellers in as our stats are still dire.
Innacurate data? Remember how we couldn't possibly trust Chinese data? https://www.newsweek.com/texas-medi...a-amid-states-coronavirus-spike-1513943?amp=1
Tweet— Twitter API (@user) date Oh well done Treasury, you absolute cockwombles. The Government's Operation Second Wave seems to be well underway. Saturday, yeah i'll give the pub a miss.
I think I'll be barricading my front door and arming myself come 4th July. Can't wait for the news stories about fights breaking out everywhere. A bit miffed that pubs are opening before gyms, but hey ho.
Ahh come on folks. You know you can't get the virus when you're getting absolutely ******ed! Alcohol kills it! Clearly ten pints and a fight will show the virus who's boss. ../s
I confess I'm really missing the gym too, but even if it were open I don't think I'd be going back for a while yet.
I saw one gym owner who was perplexed at bars opening but not gyms. They'd spaced out all the equipment and had perspex screens around them. He also made a good point that gym users don't tend to turn up half drunk. His gym and reasoning seemed far more reasonable than packing pubs out.
They do tend to breathe more heavily and sweat a lot, tho'. Don't think it can be carried in sweat, but the breathing heavily bit could be an issue (but less of a one if you've got screens and everyone wipes everything down with alcohol after use.)
True enough. Think that's why the perspex screens were up even with the equipment far apart. Still, hot and sweaty places. TBH I wouldn't go to one at the moment but I find the argument for opening them more compelling than pubs.
