A fair enough effort but when someone's doing a hard workout they're going to be blasting little droplets of spit all over the place as they huff and wheeze. Not to mention those mouth breathing halfwits who spit on/lick their hands before doing something like it's some kind of badge of hardness. I don't think it's actually possible to run an indoor gym safely at the moment. My local gym's tiny too, there's no way they could erect screens and space stuff out enough.
Fair point, you can obviously tell I don't go to them anymore. Not been for years TBH. I guess it would only work in very large gyms with people who don't flem about everywhere. On this new information to me I shall now readjust my opinion, opening gyms would probably be slightly less of a clusterfrak than opening the pubs on Saturday.
England is 'not out of the woods yet,' Johnson to warn weekend pubgoers. So more of the same, don't go the pub, go to the pub. Tweet— Twitter API (@user) date
You two clearly don't have kids or home schooling requirements! He may well be - it's only his wife that is 71! I actually watched this on the news and had to rewind it and call the missus in to watch it again. Amazing. And typical. And from a woman in a uniform of authority. CNN (and Rosemary Church) pick me up in the morning in the midst of all this. As bad as it is here, it's not "over there" bad. Yet. My mate sent me this. It's like it's a global joke by someone somewhere. You can't make it up. If it snowed this afternoon, I don't think I'd bat an eyelid. Can you guys fit a bench and some dumbbells in, even temporarily? I'm not sure I'll bother to rejoin a gym, unless I'm back in the office and it becomes a lunch thing again. If I'm still at home, I'll just have to "exercise" some discipline.
You'd think 2020 would be done 2020ing... but no, the sick jokes just keep coming: https://www.themoscowtimes.com/2020...r-region-over-bubonic-plague-suspicion-a70756
I do not have those worries, although surely even if I did, being furloughed would mean objectively more spare time so would still be better. Definitely jealous of my friend with a home gym!
Also given the pretty high chance of the restrictions changing again you'd have to be on the intellectual level of a UK Cabinet Minister to risk flying around the world on a jolly in the next couple month...
I've got a cross trainer, 2 bikes, a pull up bar in the garden, some dumbells, a suspension trainer and a couple of yoga matts, I'm using them, but it's just not the same damnit!
I'm going to piss myself laughing if Kanye gets elected - but I read somewhere that he's too late to get on the ballot, and as such the whole announcement was a waste of time. I didn't do any fact checking on that, though, so.
He's too late for the ballot in 6 states, so if he does still run, it'll be even worse for Democrats. Anyway, this discussion is more for the next presidential elections. https://www.businessinsider.nl/too-late-for-kanye-west-to-run-for-president-2020-7
The dipsh*t (Americans have some good words for idiots) said he was running last time and did nothing.
