Hi All - I'm hoping that someone can help me? I am trying to find someone who will make me a custom acrylic reservoir for my new build. Preferably a UK based supplier would be ideal, but an EU based one is OK. I have tried to contact Stealkey customs, but sadly I have not received a response as yet. Can some recommend a reliable supplier please? TIA
careful what you ask for, I have asked for designs in the past that equate to crayon on a paper towel, meanwhile I am currently butting heads with my work's professional machinist cause for some fuggin reason he call's autocad files E-drawings and cant pull a single dimension from a DXF aka its never easy
Thanks for all the replies, I have been been in design talks with Andy Lauder at Product Design Foundry, who is making this res for me. I should have my new twin Res this week, sooooooooooo looking forwards to getting this bad boy. Here's some sneak peak photos; If you need some custom parts made up I can highly recommend this guy; http://www.productdesignfoundry.com/
One of the holes in the bottom is a drain hole, the other one is for my Swiftech MCP35X pumps. It will be two separate reservoirs, one hot & one cold, each will have an MCP35X attached to it. One feeds my hardware, the other feeds my Watercool MO-RA3 external rad. The reservoir sections are 40mm thick overall, with a 30mm deep water tank. Andy had to make it out of three pieces of acrylic, in order to get the G1/4 inlet ports on the ends, so its 10mm + 20mm + 10mm thick pieces of acrylic to get the overall design just right. There is also a 5mm Acrylic top plate which it screws too, for installation into my TT level 20 case. This res will be sitting in the roof of the case, see pic below, my build log will be updated soon; https://forums.bit-tech.net/index.php?threads/project-howler.375454/#post-4809334
This bad boy arrived the other day, a top quality job and it fits perfectly too!!! https://imgur.com/gallery/Brd994O
That twin res cost me £251 including next day shipping, simpler designs would obviously be cheaper. Contact Andy Lauder at Product Design Foundry and he'll happily give you a quote. http://www.productdesignfoundry.com/
I had a small issue with the res and contacted Andy Lauder about it, he quickly acted to resolve the issue. First class customer care, I can highly recommend this guy. If you need some custom parts manufactured, then contact Andy with your needs; http://www.productdesignfoundry.com/
Its what I love about small fab's, they go out of their way to fix things! We have a similar one for metal fab at work, thewir output is always exceptional and they go out of their way to help us compared to other places!
