https://www.express.co.uk/news/worl...ZxbSNleF5Wl2UP9q5Qz3KNtDRPK6K-s0gM4MSggydnlLQ How about a nice dose of the plague to go with your Coronavirus?
Yeah nothing to really worry about if you're descended from plague 1.0 surviors. Everyone else, well, antibiotics can majorly reduce the risk of death.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-latin-america-53319517 I was ambivalent about Boris when he had it, but this time I am very much rooting for the virus.

I thought perhaps Boris might learn something from experiencing Covid 19 first hand but, it made no difference, he's still a self serving, arrogant, ignorant c*nt.
Oooh, £10 to eat out..... No you hapless Government, it's not money that's stopping me eating out it's your inability to do anything other than spout hot air. Do one.
To put this into perspective, the government had to be shamed into giving children who would otherwise go hungry £15 a week in food vouchers. That means that a family of four living in poverty get, at best, £30 a week from the government to feed their children; a family of four that can afford to eat out (pfft, seriously, did nobody think "dine out" would have been a better slogan?) at a 50-percent-off rate will receive up to £120 a week to do so. (Basic maffs, innit: £10 per head, times four heads, times three days a week: 10*4*3=120.) Again: hungry family in poverty, £30 a week; family earning up to and including the top 0.0001% in the country, £120 a week. Thanks, Tories(!)
Also how much does it even help business? I mean the administrative cost to claim back that "up to £10" from the Government certainly won't be zero...
Also the VAT reduction on certain things will almost certainly be used to raise margins for the business rather than drop prices for the customer.
Listening to You and Yours on R4 in the car just now, that seems to be the case with newspaper subscriptions and some e-book sales. Many of the newspapers are charging the same as before and now getting to keep more, supposedly to help prop them up
Anybody got a reliable stats site for current UK cases/deaths info? Having a discussion with the missus over whether to relax standards slightly - I say nothing is at that level yet, but will stand corrected if need be.
Maybe this https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/uk/ it graphs the PHE data. I think what is hoped is that as lockdown is released any activity is done in a covid aware manner, so we don't head straight back to mid-March on the trend lines.
