HP Microserver? Dammit, I forgot that I'm running @David's old N45L at work. That's one more for the list!
Oops, I 'accidentally' ordered this. Seeing as I have RAM, SSD and cooler, I might as well just get a CPU and build another rig, right?
Very temped by the new cooler master nr200 no glass version. Looks big enough to house a decent set of fans but still "small". Anyone else been tempted?
Yeah - been following that one for a while. I'm seriously thinking of buying one for my son's PC, just so I can try it out. Not interested in windows, so I'd go for the vented panel too.
In the UK it looks like only the NR200P is being released. You might get the NR200 on Amazon maybe though I guess. Personally I just ordered the NR200P version from OCUK and will just not use the glass panel. Though I like having the option if I change my mind later. The case is cheap enough that paying for a panel I won't use does not both me (especially considering £80 plus delivery vs €300 for something like a Sliger).
Good man, accidentally joined the Ryzen Club. Now, which CPU? I can't believe how powerful the 4 core 3100 is for £95! What a 'shame' , it just fell into your basket? I'm still waiting for my H81N and i3 4130 to arrive from ebay 'due Fri 14th..' It'd be between that lovely Gigabyte Aorus or the MSI B450 with the 'better' VRMs for me. I'll get this running and it'll be Ryzen next time round for sure. On that subject, have you seen this A520 ITX board? Super stealth M.2 on the top of the board, very understated all round:
Yes, it'd be a secondary rig in a small case with a CPU that won't tax the power delivery system 6c/12t tops I guess. T1 beast, next evolution! Looking mean. That was a smart move, getting in on the ground floor as the UK ambassador for FormD
Yes. It comes with both panels, 2x120mm fans and the PCI riser card. So for £80 it's actually (I think) great value compared to the other niche aluminium itx cases. Also easier to get hold of too. Of course it's 18L, so larger than some, but that gives you some more freedom too. That said, since I was on holiday when mine got delivered to my neighbour, and now they are away until Friday, I may hate it...
How do you feel about it compared to the M1? It looks to be absolutely top notch and beautifully made. It's lucky they're unavailable for some time yet as my wallet has taken a hit with this USFF case project Although a bit on the large side for an NCase M1 owner, there seems to a lot to like about this case. I look forward to seeing a real life build. Hang in there @jsbombjack, not long now...
They are back late Friday. Saturday cannot come soon enough... Of course their daughter should have noticed it if she'd been round to feed their cat, but that's another story...
Bring it on @jsbombjack! Which colour did you go for? Seems to look good in both; I like the silver accents to break up the white version.
I would say...... its be "best made" SFF case I have ever had, I expect it to be surpassed in terms of "niceness" when my Mjölnir arrives later in the year. My top 10 based on what I have / currently owned (I have obviously owned more, but I didn't like them / cant remember them, so they aren't on the list): FormD T1 NFC S4M monsterlabo the first HDPLEX H1 NCase M1 ZS-A4DC Akasa Euler Streacom FC5 Akasa Galileo TU Slim 1U SST-RVZ01
Veeeeeeeeeeeeery Interesting, straight in at No 1 eh? M1 in mid table shocker! Ho ho, and in other news; a Mjolnir on order
