It needs to be a judge led, independent inquiry, NOT a parliamentary one.

Doesn't really matter, I mean how many people are still talking about the Russia report?

Any scandal they just need to create a new feck up to distract.

This push to get people back to their cube farms is probably the donor classes bricking it about them losing their precious rental income.

Continued WFH = business cut back on renting expensive office space = lose rental income
Fewer commuters = businesses that service the commuters [pret et al] close/move from their expensive retail space = lose rental income

Agreed, add in the petrochemical and automotive companies who are losing out because of reduced commuting.

Then the large building firms putting up more of that expensive office / service complexes or housing in expensive areas people aren’t wanting to live in.

It’s not like any of those have lobbyists or MP’s as part of there boards.....

Are you suggesting the Tory "government" might be corrupt?

Wait a minute, I think I've done that...

You're preaching to the converted. This "government" is corrupt to the core and they don't care who knows it, because they have a big majority and can do what they like. They need to be judged harshly at the next general election.

Bugger the Tories, with red hot iron bars or very spiky cacti.

A bunch of Neonazis trying to storm the Reichstag to protest for freedom...

and I'm convinced the irony was lost on the absolute majority of them.

Besides being completely pointless, enforcement being impossible and it being policy u-turn #166567? No.

(pointless as constantly fondling your mask and face to regularly put it on / remove it renders it moot)

Not entirely, it will reduce transmission through coughing/breathing but you are still buggered when having contact with surfaces, hence handwashing stations. At the end of the day, kids will be stupid and there will be 0 enforcement. There is a strong lack of empathy/caring for others nowadays in the UK. If people and the gov weren't so daft we could have had less cases and a smaller financial impact.

Yup, plus they've done nothing to eliminate the problem of Grandparents being forced to babysit due to school days being shorter than work days.
