What about Mr Benn, Chigley, Trumpton, The Herbs and especially The Clangers, my favourite as a sprog?

The Herbs can do one. Them and the Flumps, never trusted them.

Neither was mine, my memory is not good enough for that. I do remember Fingermouse and Dangermouse was for adults as well. Another one that just came to mind is The Trapdoor, claymation voiced by Willie Rushton.

The Clangers came back with new episodes in 2015/16, narrated by Sir Michael Palin.

Watching The Clangers now, around half a century later, they don't have quite the same magic as they did when I was a little sprog.:sad:

Years ago, I bought - and have since lost, annoyingly, so can't show the kids - a Bananaman DVD. I very clearly remember sitting entranced in front of the tellybox watching Bananaman episodes that lasted at least half an hour back when they were broadcast.

They don't. They're about six minutes long. And the intro - "WHEN ERIC EATS A BANANA..." - takes up about three of those.

Feel that the aesthetic is a bit austere and grey but no doubt it will be an accomplished piece.

Interesting choice of music - Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon" Eclipse (or a cover thereof)

EDIT - I meant Eclipse, not Dark Side of the Moon!
