Jesus. Totally unnecessary, can't believe the dad got in on it too. Hope both of them are banned from any sanctioned racing for life.

Disguesting behaviour, that attack at the end too is uncalled for.

Because he was stationary and behind the line when the lights went out.

...or at least that has been the reason past jump starts haven't been penalised.

Honestly I think Albon's PR company must be paying Ben Edwards a fat wedge to continue to be so complimentary of him.

Albon is horrific in the car. I can't work out what anyone sees in him. Nice chap, wrong job.

I think Albon is suffering the same thing Kvyat, Ricciardo and Gasly did at Red Bull, it's Team Aston Martin Red Bull Verstappen Honda. The other driver exists only because the rules say he must. It's not as bad as last year in that Albon's car appears to be the same spec as Max's, but RB don't give a damn about the other driver and that has to bleed into every aspect of his working life there. He drove pretty well last year, Gasly is driving much better for AT than he did for RB, I expect Albon will do much the same. Red Bull need to stop pretending and hire someone like Perez or Hulkenberg to go and be the Barrichello (or Bottas) to Verstappen.

I still think the FIA should punish him and punish him harshly, just for the sake of setting a precedent for that kind of behaviour. Since he's 'retired' a lifetime ban won't hurt his career.

Fair point, at least then it will be on record, officially, rather than disappear with his retirement.

Albon isnt a bad driver. He hasnt been around long enough to firmly place in the pecking order but dont forget when he replaced Gasly he did perform and certainly looked racier than Gasly in the overtake department

I think part of the problem is the technique required to set up and drive the Red Bull.
I remember some analysis of the car early on in the season it had a very twitchy unstable rear end. It is fast, very fast just difficult especially if you dont have confidence in it.
