Funny how many Intel "leaks" there are since the AMD launch... Hmmmm worried much Intel?

The recent resurrection of TEC CPU coolers by Intel had a hand in that?

Lets hope Intel smash it, it's all good for us, will bring with it some price competition.

 

What Intel really really need to do is keep a socket design for multiple generations like AMD has done, rather than oh this is the best chip ever but oh yeah you need to buy a new board again to replace the one you got last year.

 

I bought a Z490 ROG Maximus XII Hero + 10700K near the start of the pandemic on the new LGA1200 socket - but sounds like there will be a Z590 coming with Rocket Lake which is going to be a real kick in the teeth... can't even have the same premier chipset between 2 CPU generations currently. Wouldn't even be surprised if I put a Rocket Lake in my board that the PCIe slots end up still being PCIe 3 (though I've read they should support PCIe 4). Not that I plan to give Intel any more money though...
