I was wondering if the hive mind had any recommendations for a mid tower on the smaller size that could fit two 280mm radiators, one in the front and one in the top. A play in blender suggests you could perhaps get this down to around 40cm tall, 40cm deep and 22cm wide. Most quality cases seem to go really small, or just a bit taller / deeper to accommodate 360mm rads but I wondered if there was a way to cool well with fewer fans using the space a bit better. I had found the Thermaltake S100 and Deepcool Macube 110 but wondered if there were any others? I like the idea of running the fans at a lower speed than would presumably be the case in a 2x240mm setup but if it's of nominal difference then maybe that's why there aren't many cases like what I'm after.
Kinda, I'd prefer a little bit bigger just to make building it a bit easier and the way the pump just looked to be dangling in the kickstarter picture rustled my jimmies.
Yeah, the kickstarter pictures were shite. The launch model is slightly bigger. The photography is one of the major criticism's.
The 011 mini announced in January just got reviewed so will probably be that https://www.tomshardware.com/uk/reviews/lian-li-pc-o11d-mini-review
Shame about the non-atx power supply imo, three rad support but gotta use sfx-l thonking emoji. The included pump mount is for ddc only too, which I think is fine? Received wisdom says d5 is quieter but maki said (I think) that it's not really an issue anymore, just would have been nice to be given the option out the box. It still seems a bit inefficient on space if you just want dual 280s, but it will no doubt be popular and think I can probably change my desires to meet its capabilities.
