    Currently grumpy about a £50 2m TB3 cable. Who do they think they are, hi-fi manufacturers or something?

    Well at least this has dramatically improved sound quality. As it allows me to put my laptop in a cupboard.

    Since I switched to a Camlink, video stuff (i.e. when I need it to be quiet) ramps the fans up to one million. Problem solved.

    Which active TB3 did you buy, @Mister_Tad? IIRC I paid £70 for mine. And it doesn't even let me put my laptop in a cupboard. It does mean that I can put it well out of the way though :)

    Ah nice. It was out of stock when I needed mine. Got a cablematters one instead. It's been great, but I did bitch at the price.

    Love a bit of Noctua goodness! I’ve just got a couple of slim 92mm chromax fans on the way :)

    I remember that pain all too well.
    I have the same one. In fact, I think it was the only genuine one I could find - everything else was either half speed or half a metre.

    I need to stop being so general with my searches..

    Instead of the Anaal Nathrakh albums I intended to buy;

    Vanish - Come To Wither
    The Cold View - Born Banished Beaten Broken Buried
    Human Cordyceps - Eternal Ascendancy
    Human Chunks - Anatomical Artistic Deviancy

    There's something wrong with this photo, there's a big pile of useless stuff in front of your Lego!

    I've been slowly building towards an CTSFO build, the patches are finally on their way and should be here in time for HMS Ashwell in Jan.

    Whilst I like AOC's price points, much like ASRock motherboards, I find their quality lacking sometimes. Plus, I wanted to try a VA panel with HDR and Freesync and this seemed to tick all of the boxes :)
