Rosberg only won due to Hamilton being unlucky with retirements. The championship could swing either way those first few years purely on luck. He did get under his skin a few times but Hamilton never cracked and moved on quickly. If anything you could see Rosberg getting more worked up each time Hamilton didnt get worked up or crack If anythingbhe created the hyperclinical Hamilton we see today.
In the first couple of seasons Hamilton absolutely screwed with Rosberg and loved every minute, but Rosberg sorted himself out and turned it on Hamilton in 2016 and you could see many occasions where Hamilton was visibly rattled. Sure he had some luck with Hamilton's retirement in Malaysia, but on the whole Rosberg had his measure that season. Hamilton's steely resolve is because he knew in part that's how Rosberg got him that year and in Bottas, hasn't had to deal with anything like that and been allowed to find himself. This year and everything going on and Hamilton's off track distractions should have been a gold mine of ammunition, but Bottas is too nice.
Bottas has removed reference to Mercedes from his Instagram profile. Russell has removed reference to Williams from his Instagram profile. https://www.planetf1.com/news/valtteri-bottas-mercedes-instagram/

Kinda upset about that tbh, while its great Hamilton is ok, it would of been amazing if Russel could of had that dream win
Given his age and fitness he's probably fine, if he goes through FP1 and declares he feels awful, deploy The Hulk.
