It'll be either Fittipaldi, as he's already contracted to them/their designated spare, or Hulk as he's got nothing else on.

Albon will be/stay RBR's designated spare.

It'll be Fittipaldi, if Fittipaldi's too slow they'll look for an excuse for RoGro to make some farewell tour appearances. Assuming Mrs Gro allows it.

An/or Daddy Warbux's chequebook is bringing in more than any disgruntled sponsors would take away with them.

Coward's decision. They've lost a ton of good will which will hurt both fan and sponsor support for the team.

Probably won't do sprogmacher many favours either.

Im rooting hard for Sprogmacher. I want to see him wipe the floor with Mazeprick.

It will be a big surprise if Sprogmacher doesn't trounce Mazepin, Sprog's been pretty consistent whilst Mazepin seems to be very much in the Maldonado mold, except less talented.

IIRC hasn't Tsunoda been more consistent than Crashypin?

I don’t really follow GP2, but by all accounts Tsunoda is the one to watch - and did pretty well in the feature races.

I got the impression that Tsunoda had some exceptional races but his GP2 campaign wasnt overly impressive

Pretty much, Sprogmacher is very much in his fathers mould so he is bound to do well.

Tsunoda, seems to have these flashes of absolutely stunning driving just needs to keep them going an string them together.

I do wonder now if it was too soon to promote Tsunoda and a season of Albon in the TR/RBLite/AT might might have been a better step.

I knew I shouldn't have looked at the replies to that tweet and yet I did anyway. Grim.

"he can only win from the front, he can't race wheel to wheel" - wrong
"he'll never beat Vettel" - wrong
"he'll never surpass Schumacher" - wrong
"Um, it's the car - anyone could do it in that car - it doesn't make him a great driver" - Yeah, that's why Schumacher won his titles in a Minardi, right?
"ok then... um.. he's a no good tax dodger, he doesn't even live here" - if I was worth £300 million, I seriously doubt I'd want to stay in this sh!t hole.

    Haters gunna hate.
