Youngest was doing a little homeschooling. Today we were doing a little on coins, somehow for an art project. He assumed that coins were all individually hand painted with the designs, and was very adamant on the fact.
Laughing for about 20 mins and counting.

Have 46sqm of floored loft space now that was not there yesterday, and a vast array of stuff that is currently scattered throughout the entire house for the two months since moving can disappear. And I could not be more excited about this.

My clacky boi is back in working order!

Well... Mostly working order anyway! Left shift, capslock, and Tab are a little unresponsive, I have to press them a little harder for anything to register. I've remapped CapsLock to WindowsKey, so that'll be a bit frustrating.

I need to open the keyboard up and check where the bolts are so I can make sure there's enough clamping force on that side of the assembly... Looking at this photo I took yesterday, it looks like there's a bolt right next to capslock, so that should be fine, but it's worth checking. If I have to take this keyboard assembly apart again in order to replace more springs then I will not be happy... Problem is that I can't properly test the springs until the keyboard assembly is back together; the buckling spring mechanism doesn't work unless the whole assembly is clamped together properly... I counted ~65 bolts holding this thing together...!

I stumbled across a website that sells solvents and silicones and rubbers and glues - In English! At reasonable prices! (9€ for a litre of acetone, for example).

    Happy days.

Formx.eu - I was looking through the smooth-on distributors and they were listed as 'germany' despite being in the Netherlands - I was expecting the worst in terms of lanugage, but they stock basically everything I want except acrylic sheet in various colours and thicknesses.

A very welcome late-night internet stumble.

Not much use over here at the moment if it's in Germany, or anywhere in the EU for that matter.

Indeed - But being on the other side of the channel makes it very useful to me.

I wish my late-night internet stumbles were that productive.

Yes indeed, I was thinking that it's a good find for you but not so much for us in Blighty given our new found 'freedom'

Well, it fits, and there's space for the lining and interlining.

Now, to channel the memories of textile DT at school where I was let loose with a sewing machine and make the lining..

There's a reason I have three copies of Tetris for the Gameboy/Colour/Advance, as well as for the PS2.
