Sounds like what I want from a world leader. Just quietly work on stuff in the background instead of making it all a show
It's been weird to have several weeks of a US President who does his job, takes part in daily policy meetings, scheduled press events and answers questions in a broadly logical manner.
Honestly I was hoping this thread would die down on page 46, but this presidency has been so uneventful and meeting expectations that, there's not much to talk about except the impeachment of the previous white house resident.
Yeah I do worry that everyone's going to give him an easy ride just because he's not as bad as the other guy, so he's just gonna be left alone to get on with the important stuff like bombing yemeni kids.
First he has to undo (officially or otherwise) the executive order Trump signed that bars the publishing or reporting of drone strikes by any branch of the US military or government. He used that little gem to cover up his ordering more strikes in 4 years than Obama and Bush ordered in 16. I suspect that one might get 'forogtten' about unless the press gives him a hard time over it, it's awfully convenient.
