Alright, I will. If anyone asks why I haven't finished my work, I'll tell them you said it's OK, @adidan

No problem, just point them in my direction.

Tell them to get their shins ready, they want any more than a "because" answer they'll be getting kicked in them.

Owing to not reading the description quite thoroughly enough, three pints of Lea & Perrins.

Is that the elite? Trying to find a replacement for my RAT7 and that seems about the best candidate.

Not bought, but given to me by works IT who are desperate to get me away from CRT monitors.
They tried a Dell, they tried a HP or 3 monitors, now they're looking at higher refresh rates monitors.

Good man - that's quite a stash. I've not got much left - a nice Iiyama and some old 15" thing - but they're not departing any time soon :)

Yeah it’s the M65 Elite RGB. It does feel a smidge lighter than an older version of one I’ve got.

I'm curious. Do non-CRTs make you feel ill or something? Or is it just a personal choice?

They're just nicer in a lot of ways, I think. Colours pop more, plus if you play a lot of old games like I do, stuff looks awful on LCDs without a lot of arsing around.

For work, though, I can't see why you'd want to limit yourself to 17" CRTs.

I miss using a CRT monitor (still got a 28" Panasonic Quintrix CRT with Dolby Pro-Logic decoder and five speakers sat to my right as I type) for low-resolution work, but the ones I could afford back in the day *sucked* for high-resolution. I couldn't go above 1024x768 without dropping to a migraine-inducing 60Hz on my Sony Trinitron.

I'd love a CRT again, but as a secondary monitor - not for work!
