    Completely agree, the ergonomics of picking fruit is a nightmare. The physical conditioning required, along with the ability to perform repetitive tasks is not something I think I could manage, even unit the non-existent first tea break.

    Conversely my body is a blob and is solely there to keep my brain alive, nourished and free from pain so I can work, my brain is what my employer compensates me richly for.

    True enough with regards to approval.
    But would we have had to join the common vaccine procurement program if we were still members, if so it's fair comment to claim faster access to the vaccines by being out?

    True, but claims that we could only go our own way because we left the EU or, conversely, that we wouldn't have been able to go our own way if we were still a member of the EU are absolutely false. Kinda like the passport colour thing, only... y'know, this would actually matter.

    I was wondering a while back if us leaving had had an adverse effect on the EU procurement process, if it would have been better/worse with us remaining in. Assuming individual countries have much involvement in the process either directly or more indirectly with any staff assisting the EU processes.

    UK exports to the EU dropped 40% in January, while imports dropped 28.8%. Unfortunately for Our Glorious Leaders, trade with non-EU nations grew 1.7 percent in the same period - which makes it really, really hard to blame coronavirus instead of Brexit. Not that they won't try, of course.

    But those 200 million are proud BRITISH exports, and as such they are worth far more than the numbers alone suggest, any true brit would see that.
