@Byron C , what size/brand/model of screen is that at the top there, please?

Edit: ignore me - I can see it's a Dell, and based on your post in the Life-ruining thread I am assuming it's a fairly standard size (presuming that the one underneath is your defective 30").

I was only asking because I am thinking about getting some sort of temporary secondary screen, probably 12" to 15" and I assumed that your main screen was a 24"

20" I think. I asked for a second monitor from work and they gave me one of the naff 1600x900 ones instead of the slightly larger 1080p screens. Boo! But any second screen is better than no second screen...

The main one is a Dell 3008WFP which I think is on the way out...

I have reached peak camgirl, and I think my office setup is finally finished.

 

What do you think of that keyboard? I've heard conflicting opinions.

 

I like it, in that it's fine. I don't have any strong feelings about it either way tbh.

I don't twiddle the knob (ooh err) nearly as much as I'd like to as there isn't much in the way app-specific functionality outside of a handful of apps that I mostly don't use. A bit disappointing as there's heaps of potential in a bunch of apps that I do use, but I can't get it to do what I want it to. So the MX Keys is undoubtedly a better buy over this 99% of the time.

As a keyboard, I find it pleasant typing and it's quiet enough to not get picked up by the mic.

Although no Arr Gee Bee lighting (besides what's in my case) or fancy gigantic curved monitor here... And that camera is almost certainly better than mine!

 

Would the cam not be better in between the monitors? Unless your onlyfans caters to a top of your head fetish, which is almost certainly a thing.

Top of mine is at an ergonomically correct eye level if I’m sitting properly.

 

Don't forget that when you're 8 inches tall that's basically an Imax theatre.

 

Mine is slightly lower than it should be, but it's not far off tbh.

It's a heavy beast though, so can't have it mounted too high on the stand.

 

May I ask what monitor and how did you do the colour matching ambient light?

 

Squirrel ahegao is even more niche.

 

But I'm afraid that furries are definitely not my kinda thing...

 

It’s a Dell U4021QW with a couple of hue play bars stuck to the back with purple and blue because it’s purdy. Matching the on screen colour is merely a coincidence I noticed after the fact here, nothing fancy.

A hue sync box would do the job afaik generally, but not with the 5120x2160 res here.

I almost clicked “like” on your post, but then didn’t want anyone to get the wrong idea.

Yeah... I think I'd probably end up using the knob as an expensive volume control.

I'm keeping an eye out for deals on the MX Keys.

 

What you do with your knob is something you should keep to yourself.
