At the right price, I'd be interested in picking up a couple to replace my increasingly temperamental pair. But at a grand a pop, which they almost certainly will be...? Not a chance in Hell.

I can't see them costing around the same as the extreme overclocked watercool 3080s when performance is around 3060/3060ti levels. I know people are desperate for cards but are they really that desperate?

Yeh, some suckers will probably buy them at that price :hehe::lol:

Scalped 3060TIs go for £900+... just saying.

Looks like that was built on 16nm, which I think was one of the only GPUs to use that node. Kinda makes sense if the fab now has spare capacity.

Its only scalping when an individual does it. Its supply and demand when a company does it.

OCUK has been doing it for years.

I posted on another forum a few months ago that I was looking at 6800xt's, as I thought I may have had the money for one, and when I looked at OCUK they had increased the price of 1 card by £150 overnight and it's stayed at that price since then.

The funny thing was it was on a day when most people get paid from work, so someone could have just scraped enough together from 2 months salary and still come up short because of it.

I rarely buy anything from OCUK because of many reasons but pricing is always right up there as they are normally anything from £30 to £100 more expensive than anywhere else.

Sometimes though they are cheaper but it's very rare.

As I stated a while ago.....Quite a lot of the Scapled gear was within 20 miles of OCUK premises, but OCUK did not have any?....Weird that one?
    Scan are just as guilty.
