    Pfft 'Guidelines'.

Bet it's something draconian like 'must contain words other than expletives'.

I was quite polite, I think the furthest I went was to compare usefulness to shiny objects applied to felines.

Guess someone doesn’t have a sense of humour.

My OH got a similar review request for a hotel stay, one the company cancelled months ago because of lockdown.

Wait, isn't the 6700XT a gnat's bollock faster than a 2070 Super? Excellent value. Not.

RRP was supposed to be about £200 cheaper wasn't it?

This generation is non-existent to me.

Half of that £200 premium is just the usual Asus Tax, so it is only £100 more than it should be.

Not like that matters too much... since it is far too much either way for a low end GPU.

TBH from the stock informer notifications I've seen for 3090's this is a fairly average price...

All of this debacle is just proving that Nvidia and AMD can get away with massively increasing the RRP of future products and they would sell all the same.

Yeah, part alerts on discord regularly lists 3090s around £2k-£2.5k

Almost makes me regret not buying one at £1600 when I had the opportunity a month or so ago...

Snap... would've been 1/5 the way to paying it off by now with mining too...

I got mine three weeks ago, for £1550* (and a Lenovo tablet in trade), from a workmate. Only because I convinced my missus that by buying my birthday present early and using it to claw back the cost between then and my birthday (in late August!!), the net cost would be practically zero.

    Gawd bless her for agreeing.

*OK, I did spend around £40 on new thermal pads, so we'll round it up to £1600

Agreed, the 40x0 is going to be pricey!
