Returned from a weekend away, I’m indifferent about the whole experience. Covid made it kind of suck in a lot of ways but being away takes me away from bad habits such as logging onto my work laptop out of hours or moping around the house on raining weekends. Gives me a lot of clarity and I definitely need to do it more often.

Anyway, After we’d cleared through the mountain of washing I sat down and managed to sneak my laptop out to see if I’d missed anything. At the same time I decided to see if my payslip had landed and by chance it had!

I’d been anticipating my bonus this month and the figure was very much dependent on the amount of recipients. I’d been been given a ballpark and told myself it would almost be certainly the lower figure.

It’s almost double what I anticipated, super chuffed and really ready to tick off some more debt come the end of the month! woohoo

PUBG hilarity. We've been getting pretty pasted recently. Still getting the chicken, but nowhere near as often. It seems the game has had a second wind and many of the level 500 players have returned.

Last night's hilarious moment was when I was hiding from the red zone (bombs drop to give you a hint you should be moving in, outside kills, inside is safe). Any way all of a sudden I hear an engine noise. I had a quick look (do note it doesn't tell you where they are in play) and then ducked back into my hut.

As I ducked in they came by. The red zone blew up their truck and knocked them both, deshelling them like peanuts :D easiest two kills I've ever had.

Even more hilariously when the red zone ended the blue zone had come in and started to chunk at my health. So I ran. Another red zone started and I got blown up also :D

So I sent my mother £30 for food for this week. Knock on her bedroom door. She says "come in".

I say "I sent you thirty quid for food for this week"

Alexa then sprung into life and said "I don't have an answer for that". Cue both mum and I pissing ourselves with laughter.

Glad you didn't have a Sayl fayl.
Sending it back in the mayl would have been a pain.

Work have installed a new 7kW charger for those staff who own electric cars (There are 5 of us already).
I've been asked to test it with mine, and it seems to be working fine.

EDIT:- Got home to find the postie's brought me a date for "Stabbening 2: The sequel".

    120 meters of hand-stitched threads
200 meters of thread in the sewing machine
    One old coat
    One pile of lining
    Several 3D prints
    One pile of electronics

It is done! It's not perfect, a tailor would look at it and say 'lolnoob'. It's not 100% screen accurate, but I love pockets. and I'm not a wizard, I can't make stupid future tech zippers. the N7 patch is velcro backed, and the sleeve has velcro on it so I can swap patches should I ever find a screen accurate one I like. The Armageddon patch is to distract from the lack of sleeve pocket on the game item, from the 2004 weekend airsoft game, theme fit and so does the dates given the screen jacket was meant to be kicking about in 2022.. But I made it.

I need a mannequin. Maybe a couple, so I can modify one to hold the Mantis Blade..

    Oh, I also tested out the new curing box on the UV-cure neon blue nail varnish I used to name the tarot cards;

It's a really nice build, an evening and that's about it. Good bit of movement in it too. Head is on a ball joint as are the wrists. Ears move up and down, mouth opens, and the fingers can be moved around. Unfortunately the arms are in set positions, but that's ok.

You know you are getting old, when you see something like that and have absolutely no idea what it’s about…

Not sure if that's a sign of getting old or being too young. It's from The Fifth Element, which came out in 1997.

Yep got the same email, I will soon be able to delete lastpass and move everything to a more reliable and secure system and not feel like I'm about to be held to ransom.

Had a 1st stage interview for a job I am really interested in. Was scheduled for 30 minutes but ended up discussing the business, myself and general ideas for over an hour.

    Fingers crossed! :)
