Have no complaints at all of the AIO i had, never skipped a beat. just wanted to go back to air.
Also sick of seeing AIO's in every single build i see. The novelty of water cooling wore off years ago for me.

Because I need to know* how well or poorly a laptop with a 20gbps TB3 port (i.e. my XPS 9360) utilises an eGPU. My XPS 9670 was pretty impressive it that regard but it had a 40gbps port, and I sold it ages ago.

*Well, strictly speaking, I don't. However, these things tend to play on my mind. So, while I don't actually need to know, I need to know!

Just a 970 I picked up at the weekend.

I really don't like the MSI Gaming cards, but it was "relatively" cheap.

    A Node ESP8266.

This GBS-8200 project is rapidly spiralling out of control. I blame @Byron C. As per usual.

Looking at retrofitting some HDMI and more advanced control features to the GBS-8200, and since Ol' Byron's board has space and a connector, so I don't have to be some kind of plebeian and have it floating around, it only makes sense.

I wish, have a row of ~10m tall hedges where that’s just the ticket and I’ve not called round for hedge trimming quotes yet because I fear what they’ll tell me

Seems a bit overkill, just hook it on the tool belt tbh and you’re good to go. Harnesses just seems like a faff

Not a purchase, but I'm gonna post it here anyway

Been meaning to get up in the loft at my mother's house for a long time to do a bit of a 'triage' up there: sort through whether there's anything worth keeping or any old stuff I'd want to hang on to. Didn't manage to get through everything, becuase there were some parts of the loft that were just too stuffed to reach. Like I said this was a 'triage', not a full-blown 'dig it all out and toss it in a skip'.

Every time I go up there and start sorting through stuff, I always always come back home with stuff. Today was no exception.

An original Xbox and a SCART switcher - do you know how hard it is to get your hands on a SCART switch these days?! I really hope this one supports RGB!

Big-box copy of Command & Conquer: Red Alert. I never played the "main" C&C games, but I was all over Red Alert. Damn I miss big box games...

    Big pile o' games!

    From left to right (ish):
    • Half Life 2
    • Half Life 2 Ep. 1
    • Half Life Generations
    • Doom - Collector's Edition
    • Unreal Anthology
    • Sam & Max Hit the Road
    • Max Payne
    • Sonc the Hedgehog - really wish I could find my Sonic 2, Sonic 3, and Sonic & Knuckles cartridges!
    • Rise of the Robots - the OG example of an overhyped game that turned out to be utter shite
    • Rollcage - I remember this being a surprising amount of fun
    • Command & Conquer Tiberian Sun
    • C&C Red Alert: The Aftermath
    • Fallout 2 - my original copy!!!
    • Yu-Gi-Oh: Forbidden Memories - this was my brother's, no way you'd catch me buying that shite
    • Spyro: Year of the Dragon
    • Grand Theft Auto London
    • Worms Armageddon
    • Time Crisis Project Titan - don't have a light gun though!

And last, but not by any means least, the only pre-recorded MiniDisc I ever bought - Korn - Issues:

    Which still works!

@Byron C I don't think I've got a SCART switch anymore but I think I've still got some high quality SCART cables left if they are of any use? Cambridge Audio and QED I think but I'll have to check.

Oo, sorry, forgot to reply to you here!

I think I should be good for the moment, thanks! I picked up a couple of chonky-boi cables during the same loft-rummaging session!
