    As long as light and dark can be toggled between, surely the default is irrelevant. Although I can see the point of default dark mode for OLEDs, for those users who never check any settings.

    I like the idea of dark mode, but I hate white text on a black background, but the current windows 10 dark mode is basically that, so the blue might be nice, but will have to see when get a chance to play with it

    Green is what you want. Terminal green, on black. We had dark mode figured out perfectly decades ago.
