Aye, stumbled into them because Selim Lemouchi was a session guitarist for Watain, and TDB is his band. Sadly he committed suicide a while back, so the band pretty much disappeared overnight.

I liked Graveyard Shuffle, but I literally only have the live version on the ..Come Reap (I think..) Fire Burning re-release. As far as I can tell, 7" is the only format the song was ever released on recorded in the studio.

They have a bit of a Ghost vibe IMO. Especially when listening to Impera then The Time Of No Time Evermore.

I haven't ditched it. Weather has been conspiring against me. Last night I got so fed up of it I decided to open the back doors and do the top in here.

I made but one error. I should have masked the veneer already on there to stop the glue getting into the grain. I have gotten 99% of that off, but fear going through the veneer if I continue. So, I am just going to have to accept it.

The legs are done and here, with the inserts for the wood itself. I will get pics of those later. Might bash out a side tonight, we'll see.

Really starting to feel like this is coming together now that there's an actual wall taking shape...

    The amplifier is all done...

All the electronics are designed by myself. The amplifiers are using the TPA3255 class D. With this PSU I can get a total output of about 1.5kW across the 8 channels.

Second coat down and dry. No more patchy look.

It needs sanding now. I also need to repaint the bottom in places and the entrance to the port. Which is no problem, but it's now Easter and family are coming in the morning. So I had to wrap it up for now.

Happy though. I have ordered some of the densest wadding from Ebay. 8oz

I also ordrered a mill 10mm bit to do the feet a few days back and that came today. If I try and drill a 10mm hole (depth and width) into MDF a normal bit would grab and go all the way through. So I need to practice on some spare MDF and get the technique down.

Oh yeah and I need spacers for the grille bars.

For the sake of less than a tenner, just get the right tool to do the right job https://www.amazon.co.uk/ManLee-Pos...eywords=10mm+drill+stop&qid=1649947540&sr=8-6

I'm not advocating that particular make, but drill bit depth stops can save a lot of grief, if secured properly.

I had no idea they existed. Ordered, ta.

I ordered nylon spacers. Black, like. They take the pee with alu or stainless ones, as they come in packs of not very useful numbers, like 5 when you need 6 and the next option is 12. Which they want a lot for.

Ooh get you fancy pants. I much prefer to use maybe a bit of tape as an indicator at very best, and proceed to go entirely through the piece, thus ruining it and having to start again.

Yeah, they bite man. Reducing the speed just seems to make it worse, too !

hah, yeah only it's now too late to make such a fudge up :D

I could shift the legs into the safe zone (like inside the box) but who does such a thing when you can put them directly under the port entrance and completely ruin it at the last fence? :D
