    Bit of a splurge* lately

    Gloves....

    For... reasons....

Bunch O' smart plugs - these bois support energy monitoring and can apparently be flashed with the Tasmota custom firmware for integration with Home Assistant

Insulated mug ("Contigo West Loop Autoseal", to be precise) - Gunmetal

Another insulated mug... the same, but in a different colour. Who tf wants boring bland greys and blacks when you can have this fabulous colour? Cost an extra tenner for this finish but as soon as I saw it I knew I had to have it.

Machine wot makes bread hot and crispy

Machine wot makes water angry.... and of course it matches the toaster because I'm not a ****ing animal...

Ninja Foodi-doodi... thing... Started off looking for an air fryer - ended up with a "ONE BAJILLION COOKING MODES IN ONE!" monstrosity. (Specifically, the Ninja Foodi Max (or OP500UK if you prefer)) The bigboi 7L model was exactly the same price as the 4.7L, and I've always been told that bigger is better.

The very best insulated mug on the market, fact*

*They keep shizz hot for a bloody long time, and don't have a lip on the lid so no first gulp of cold drink

That should pay for itself in terms of energy cost in two years, which should readily offset the threefold price hike :thumb:

Plus the toaster will help heat up the place. Win/win.

At one point we were seriously considering getting Ember "smart" mugs with built in heating elements. Until I stepped back from the crack pipe to remind myself that we're talking about paying £150 - each - for a mug. That was a close call, but sanity prevailed in the end.

Just hope your doc doesn't get non-sterile gloves from Amazon :thumb:

Right? It's an investment! My energy problems are solved!

The Contigo cups can be too good.
My commute is 90 - 120 minutes, if I don't add 1/4 cold water to my coffee it'd still be too hot to drink before getting to work

    Carpet

A bit like this, but a larger piece.

If I was smarter though, I should have just ordered 3000 free samples with different emails and a few rolls of duct tape.

What you've bought is a merkin.

That was the free merkin, I have several in slightly different shades and... lengths.

What I've ordered then, I guess, is a giant merkin.

In preparation for skull and bones! ready for the biggest disappointment of my life, anyway, c2 retired to the bedroom which gets the partner out the way and a bigger model for the front room.

Every time I grab a TV for the front room its size seems to increase, I just probably just grab a 70/80 and be done with it.

I'd rather see a doctor for that sort of thing.

Found something else that's awesome about them: they just fit in the little cubbyhole of my bike's fairing.

I never normally put anything in there, it's quite close to engine & exhaust pipes so gets super warm.
