The journey of a thousand miles, and all that. EDIT: Also: Now, is that "'Tory Party' event" or "Tory 'party event'", I wonder?
He didn't break his own laws to go there, he remembered he was there and admitted to having been there, so at least he is doing better than the last worst pm ever.

You do have to wonder how she was chosen over other candidates, watching some of the interviews it struck me she is even out classed by Kwasi in terms of political speaking....
If they did kick her out we would get Boris round 2 I guess... Either that or they'll find a whole new bottom of the barrel below the bottom of the other barrel and go for some complete joke candidate like Coffey or Shapps.
Apparently the mini-budget mess-up isn't Kwarteng's fault at all, it's... err, the dead queen's fault. No, really, a dog^Wmonarch ate his homework.
Got to admit, I didn't see this one coming: Kwarteng has now U-turned on the U-turn and pushed the publication back to the original end-of-November date. Naturally, the bounce-back Sterling was enjoying when it looked like they might be, y'know, paying attention and revising their plans has now begun to reverse. Lovely. EDIT: But the BBC is reporting... Yes, a U-turn on the U-turn's U-turn. Amaze.
