    Bought an IPad 256gb (2021) for the kids as xmas pressie. Really wanted to get a USB C version but the price difference didn't justify the small QOL improvement.

    My wife has recently treated herself to a new 12.9" iPad Pro that came with usb C and she was the opposite and would have much preferred lightning as her iPhone 13 Pro still has that. I am the opposite again, I want usb-C on everything, even the small torch that is in my pocket now has that for charging.

    Yeah they really are great cameras... I'm largely done with photography these days though, especially film. I'm not sure it's worth me paying to repair it for me to use, but I'm considering donating it to someone who would make use of it.

    Not... not sure I'd want to put that in a curry...! :grin:

    I paid 900 Euros for mine. Cheap? Not really. Am I inclined to pay 1600 Euros minimum for a 4080? Nope. Will the new AMD cards be cheaper? You're having a laugh, are you?

    The GPU market has gone completely bonkers, so I decided to just do it now instead of hoping for better times. The decision was made easier by the fact that the reason I want to upgrade (Callisto Protocol) comes free with the card.

    Been having a massive clearout/sort out in my room at mum's. The window frame here is bent, and it is quite cold in here. We are going to look into getting it replaced next year, but for now I bought a 13.5 goose down duvet.
