    Pcie wireless card

I've recommended the one linked above for my friends son's mpg Z390 gaming plus motherboard as that's the one custom pc recommended.

Will it need to go in the other 16x slot on his mother board or can he put it in one of the smaller Pcie slots.

The info on the Amazon page says 8x.

The image shows an x1 interface.

Yeah, it's definitely a x1 interface, it doesn't need anything more to achieve the speeds. The x8 on Amazon is an odd erroneous error :)

The tables on Amazon are filled in automagically, and without human input. As a result, they're often... very, very wrong.

For example, here's a Dell monitor:

It does not require batteries. Even if it did:

    Apparently it includes them.

    How about a Viewsonic?

To be fair, there is an "A" size battery, also known as LR23, and you used to find them in old laptops. The monitor definitely doesn't need one, tho'. And they're not lithium-based, which makes this:

...even more fun. Also, the battery weighs 0.5mg yet has seven cells. That's about 70µg per cell. Chinny reckon.

Also, that 0.5mg battery somehow pumps out...

    Impressive stuff!

But, yeah, long story short, don't believe anything you read in the "Technical Details" on an Amazon listing. Like, ever.

You see I made the assumption that it was a case of there's a box to fill, therefore I shall fill it! :hehe:
