Loving Andor so far. It has me thinking that things are both cunningly and conveniently left to be found for others to forward the cause.

Have a Disney voucher to start soon.

Andor is top of the list but I think I have to research what else I'll have to get through.

Isn't there Obi and Bobba series?

Also got a load of Marvel to get through, last I saw was the last Spiderman.

Finished Lazarus Project. Definitely worth a watch although it does end the season on a cliffhanger (and feeling halfway through), so hopefully they'll renew.

Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 1st Gig (aka season 1) - ****ing yes/10

I first watched this series not long after it came out, almost 20 years ago now. I've been planning to watch this off and on for a couple of years now, and I'm glad I made the effort. The original film will always be the stand-out GITS for me, but this series is just so good. The animation and artwork is fantastic, the world and the setting is right up my alley, and the music is brilliant.

Just started on the first episode of 2nd Gig and I watched the opening credits twice in a row because the music is just so damn good. I don't think I ever finished the second series though, at least I don't remember that much of it.

I think it was Bindi who had The Laughing Man logo as his avatar for ages... Wonder how he's doing these days...

Currently watching Trilogy Media & Coffee Zilla on YouTube, both channels expose scams. One focuses on mainly call centre scams whereas the other goes after influencer scams.

Movie wise, the usual feel good Disney movies with family.

    Andor
Finally started our three month Tesco voucher Disney+ session.

First up Andor and I'm enjoying it. Rogue One is my favourite SW movie after all - the OH isn't massive on sci-fi but is liking it too which is a bonus.

After this I think it'll be the other SW series before I try and figure out what Marvel needs to be watched first. There are so many. The last I saw was the most recent Spidey film so there's quite a bit.

    The Walking Dead
I've watched upontil the mid season break of season 10. Seeing as it's now finished my head has said I have to start from season 1.... Not really a bad thing, I forgot how good the early seasons were.

    The Night Of
Gritty and uncomfortable in a well-written way. Some neat little camera tricks (the nun at the funeral and the plugs in the courthouse) and a constant feeling of tension. I think Riz got nominated for something for his part in this and it is well deserved.

    New Willow
Tripe. Boorman is amusing - in fact, most of the acting isn't too bad apart from Warwick Davis who delivers his lines with less impact than a park bench - but it's predictable and by numbers. Surprised it's of such poor quality with so many big names attached to the production.

Just to be clear - this is watch-worthy, right? Doesn't end on a half-season cliffhanger or similar? And isn't derivative tripe?
I ask as the opening credits roll on episode one...

    No cliffhanger.
I'm a sucker for westerns so enjoyed it, although it did grate some.

Polished off Obi Wan and Boba. Obi was ok for a story flesh out and Bobs was good for Mando and the little guy (looks like it lines it up nicely for S3)

    1899
    - Not sure what to make of it yet, kinda got a few ideas as to what's going on but it is enjoyable so far (about 3 episodes in I think)
