I got the 5800x for £170. (new) The 5800x3d is just under 100 quid more for roughly 9% difference in performance at 1440p. I couldn't justify...
My R5 3600 and RX590 are struggling and showing their age. Even with settings cranked down on Helldivers 2 for example I'm getting between 30-60...
If replies on this post are anything to go by then I think the forum will continue on for a while yet. The articles never drove the traffic...
The BIOS flash kit requires you have 2nd gen ryzen though, correct? Which I haven't got. So I'd be stuffed if it didn't ship with support.
