He he! Had the exact same idea about interpretation I was considering shooting a knights armor though Didn't know where to find one
Great shot. Very good transparency and texture. The black is good. Somehow I come to think of an eighties album cover.

 

That is lovely. I opened this topic and just said 'oooh' out loud. It's different and quite striking.

The reflections are slightly (blurry) as you always get using mirrors. Perhaps you could photoshop the reflection instead?

Yoda, as a complete aside - I'd have loved to have seen this done using the same technique as the beer bottles featured on strobist recently - lit up from underneath. I think the "glow" could have been quite interesting.

Love the shot though, particularly the thematic interpretation.

 

I think thats great, would you be able to tell me how you produce shots like that? It looks a like an interesting technique and produces cool shots.
